Д – Дзерен

The dzeren is a rare species of antelope that inhabits the steppes of Zabaikalsky Krai. Dzerens have lightning-fast reflexes: when fleeing from predators, they can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. A distinctive feature of the males is a dewlap under their necks, which is why the species is also known as the ‘dewlapped’ or ‘goitered’ antelope.
